Welcome to the UTR Indy Lights Series!

This is the top level junior category car before hitting Indycar and as such, is a real monster to drive. The car handles similarly to the Indycar but with a few differences. The front end is grippy and overall the whole car has a good amount of downforce, bit hit fast corners and its twitchy rear end will catch you out. A good balance of throttle control and brake control with help you take this car to the title.

 

The championship itself consists of 12 rounds using the same circuits as the top series, just with a few tweaks. The circuits used are mainly national class layouts and give the drivers more of a test with their more demanding shorter layouts.

 

The events run the same two race format giving drivers a chance to shine in the feature race as a full reversed qualification grid ordering is used, allowing slower drivers to head the field for a change and give them a fighting chance.
